Real robots from Ceip Gregorio Marañón Toledo

We have borrowed some robots from Sefarad Secondary School,  we prepared them and finally we could see how they work. 
It was a fantastic experience!!
Many thanks to the Secondary School and to Mati who allowed us to have the robots! Thankssss 

Making our robots

We have worked in teams for designing our wonderful  robots. First we joined both classes and made the mixed teams. We could share our ideas and work with our friends from the other class. Then we went to a classroom to think, decide and design the robot. 
A great experience! We loved it!

When we finished our robot we made an exposition and each group presented it to the others explaining all their parts and what it could do!!

We have designed robots. 
However it has not been a normal work, it was a teamwork mixing the two 5 years old classes! We have enjoyed a lot and the results were... Wonderful!!!

We like robots very much and we are working about them. Now we are drawing them, first  we have drawn our own design and then the ones that a friend  described ! But in any case we can do very great pictures!!

We visited the IES Sefarad in Toledo

We went to visit the Secondary School Sefarad, where pupils follow a project about robots, leaded by their teachers Julio and Mati. They have had a prize this year designing, building and operating their designs. There is also a fantastic technology classroom where students make wonderful works like models or mechanical and electronic devices. We visited them and could enjoy a lot all they show us.





They have a 3D printer, a special digital machine that make pieces of plastic in three dimensions connected to a computer that manage and show the whole process.

Robots in the space

The European Robotics Week 2014 come back from 24 to 30 November 

We like robots.

We are very interested in robots.

And after we studied the solar system and its planets, we  realized that if we were going to have a better understanding of them, we could only achieve it by sending robots there because at the moment, people can not really travel to them.Yes!! 

Therefore  we decided  to design and to make our own robots, and by now we have already completed our first designs. Our very first idea.

But... it is not that easy! 
How are they going to move?

Which type of materials do we need for their construction? 
What are their roles?

Are all these procedures going to differ for each planet?
To be able to develop our project further, we ought to make an in depth research about planets, materials, properties of materials, joints...

Alvaro es un chico de 5º A que con su padre ha realizado un robot espectacular, UN BRAZO HIDRAÚLICO. 
Tecnología: unas baterías para la luz y … Mecanismo hidráulico que le permite movimiento. 
Preparaos para cerrar las bocas que se os quedarán abiertas.
